D-Step® Mats can remove as much as 98% of contaminants from the bottom of shoes and wheels of carts. This permanent high tack polymer mat removes contaminants through surface adhesion. Regular cleaning removes contaminants and regenerates the mat’s adhesiveness. Place D-Step Mats at the entrances to the range in addition to offices, lunch rooms, locker rooms, vending areas, and clean rooms to prevent shoe and wheel borne contaminants from entering clean areas. Our mats are more cost effective than disposable tacky mats, with cost recovery typically in 3 to 4 months compared to disposable tacky mats. Available in a 28″ x 60″ standard size and custom sizes (please call for details ). These easy to install permanent mats are able to stand heavy foot and forklift traffic providing years of cost effective contamination control. When the mat is dirty cleaning takes about 5 minutes to regenerate the adhesive surface and make it look new.
